UMaine-Presque Isle's Sports Information Office disseminates information to local and national media outlets for 12 intercollegiate sports. The office compiles and/or maintains statistics and records, the owls.umpi.edu web site, and the University's athletics multimedia offerings (live stats, live streaming, podcasts, audio/video highlights). The Sports Information Office also issues press releases, programs, brochures and other promotional items, and is available to assist members of the media in their coverage of the Owls athletic teams.

Student-Athlete Information Forms
UMaine-Presque Isle student-athletes are asked to fill out a Student-Athlete Profile Form prior to the start of each academic year.

Phone Interviews
All interviews with Me.-Presque Isle athletes and coaches should be arranged through the Sports Information Office. It is preferred that members of the media wishing to conduct phone interviews supply a number for the student-athlete to contact the reporter. Phone numbers of student-athletes will not be released without both their written and verbal consent.
